Sara Bareillis 'Little Voice'

I want to thank all of you that have sent me emails, left comments, and even called with offers to buy me lunch/dinner in the next month. It is greatly appreciated and I will take you up on it.

It starts on Monday the 4th and will conclude on Friday the 28th.

--I watched the film 1408 over the past two days. I started it before bedtime and finished it when I woke up. I must say… It’s a damn good flick! I gave it 4 out of 5 stars on Netflix.

For those that do not know… 1408 is based on a Stephen King novella. And to be quite honest… The movie could be called The Shining Lite. It’s less filling and tastes great!

Jack Torrance would be proud of Mike Enslin and how he conquered the evil residing in a posh hotel room.

I’m not easily frightened by horror movies, but I must say that 1408 had its share of jolting moments. But nothing like the skin-crawling scenes from The Blair Witch Project. So far, Blair Witch is the only film that still… Literally… Gives me the chills when I think about certain scenes.

--I don’t dream much. I know that I do because according to guys in lab coats, we all dream. We just don’t remember a lot of them.

I guess I should say that I don’t remember a whole lot of my dreams. But when I do, they’re usually of the “doozie”variety. With the last “doozie”… I woke myself up laughing.

It was a very strange dream indeed. Perhaps as strange as the one where I dreamt about being on a denim ship occupied by Muppet looking creatures. There were sharks with cat heads… And they talked… Trying to lure you in the water with lovely words so they could eat you. That was a dream that was computer animated… It was very weird.

But the last “doozie” may just rival that one for the title.

I will write about it over the weekend. Check in, won’t you?

Good for you, Charles. When I told a mutual friend of Eugene's latest "dumbassery" (to use his term), she said, "Eugene isn't a dumbass, he's a genius! Just think of the money he'll save! It's his friends who are dumbasses if they fall for it and actually pay for his food!"
