Accept 'Russian Roulette'

I didn't have a whole lot of time to write up a ahem decent entry, so I will just wing it.

On July 22nd, I posted an entry about the Eden Drive-In. This week, Yes Weekly does an article on the place. Today on the front page of the Life section of the Greensboro News & Record, there's a small article about the Eden Drive-In.

Now I'm not one to point fingers here, but I will... Is it a pure coincidence?

I prefer to think that I'm on the cutting edge, blazing my own unique path without caring who follows or not. Could I be influencing these articles? Am I as cool as I like to think I am?

This entry is going to be short. I've spent most of the day in the heat working promotions with our sister station 1075KZL and I'm pretty much drained of fluid. I took some water and put it in the cooler with the Dr. Pepper that we were handing out. But, that didn't stop people from taking that instead. This time, a couple of teenagers took my water and even though I politely ribbed them about taking MY water to keep me hydrated on such a hot day. And this happened after they asked me several times, "The Dr. Pepper is free?"

People have been saying it for centuries and I'm becoming a believer... Our future as a society is in big trouble with today's youth. And to top it off, Lance Bass from Nsync has admitted he's gay.

Hard to believe that you remember hunting with Grandpa....my suggestion is that the next time you want to try your hand at the sport....you go w/Uncle Malcolm. He is much more patient than Grandpa and you would be more likely to get out of the woods alive. He has far more guns to chose from and from the looks of his "trophy" room.....he has better luck at it. Just a suggestion!! I have no desire to go because I don't like the cold and I don't think that my leopard print (the closest thing I have to camo) would blend in to well in the woods of Wild Wonderful West Virginia.
