I tried something today and I don’t think that it worked out.
I had to watch my nephew and niece today. Chloe eventually went home and left me with Preston. So I thought we could go down to the Lab where he can play his video game on the computer and I could work out.
In theory, it’s a good idea. We put on a CD, fire up the electronic brain mushing device for him, and I get to work out. But the mind of a 5 year old creates a lot of variables to mess up any sound theoretical idea.
He didn’t stick with the game too long before he got discouraged. Hell, there was one game that I could excel at either so I understood his frustration.
He then decided that he wanted to work out as well. So now I’m typing this up, Preston’s creating a small bit of havoc that requires me to occasionally stop him from destroying something. And we’re digging on KISS’ first album.
Hey! Don’t forget to watch ‘The Loop’ on Wednesday night! I’m telling ya, this is one helluva funny show. Set a VCR or a DVR, do whatever you have to do. If you have to steal a TV, going down for a nickel would be worth it.
If I haven’t convinced you how funny it is, let me appeal to your eye for beauty. Two words… Mimi Rogers.
Well, he just interrupted me again and I am getting discouraged and giving up my damn self.
I apologize for the shortness of this. I have to go beat up my nephew and show him the meaning of the figure four leg lock.
Next time, make Preston do his cardio workout first and send him on a five-mile run.
