My busy time at work has slowed down quite a bit. But, I haven't been able to put myself into gear once again to do much of anything. This blog being one of them.
I find myself getting out of bed, watching nothing on television, ignoring phone calls, and going to work. Is this normal?
Just yesterday, I found myself not wanting to do a damn thing. I just wanted to lay around and become one with the bed. I even called a pizza joint and asked if the delivery driver could feed me. That's how bad it's gotten.
I think the problem is a lack of vacation. I haven't had one for close to three years now. I can't afford a vacation. My finances are feeding the never sleeping shark. If I don't work, I don't get paid. Therefore, I work as much as I can to keep from being eaten by that ever-present predator.
Today I discovered two things: 1. I like asparagus. 2. I like artichokes.
We had a meeting for 1075KZL and lunch was provided by Catering By Ellyn. Usually, that means food without buns. I am someone who feels uncomfortable by such fare. I'm "bun people". But, I will try it and today I found myself and Marcia Gan to be pleasantly surprised.

ReplyDeleteWhat were you wearing at Smackdown? I tried to look for you whenever someone got tossed out right there by you or when they went to a wide shot that included the from-the-back view of your section, but since they cut away so fast it was hard to focus. Poor Smackdown, it used to be so great... if it wasn't for Captain Charisma, MNM and The Crippler, I wouldn't even bother with it anymore...
