Have you heard?

Ratings were down for this season’s premiere of American Idol.

It seems like a small portion of the American public has finally figured out that all they have to do is watch the final show of the season to see who won. Isn’t that incredible news?

--So I’ve been watching The Office online. I’ve already watched season one on the Netflix website and I’m slowly making my way through season two.

I thought that I was seeing the light when it comes to The Office… But Steve Carrel’s character (Michael Scott) is getting on my nerves. I realize that the character is supposed to get on your nerves… It’s just getting to the point where I’m not enjoying his brand of annoyances.

Have you ever worked with someone so annoying that you secretly or even openly wished that something bad would happen to them?

I have. So why would I want to watch someone as annoying as Michael Scott?

Oh sure… I’m interested to see if Pam leaves Roy for Jim, but I’m slowly losing interest in The Office.

--Did you hear about the possibility of Wonderfalls running on the Fox network again?

The show was awesome!

I was turned onto it by my friend Christine and I fell in love with the show. I rented it through Netflix, but with the possibility of no new shows being broadcast… Wonderfalls may get another run on Fox.

I HIGHLY recommend the show. And if it does indeed get a revival, by all means watch it. It won’t cost you anything but your time and I don’t think you’ll regret it.

--How about the death of Heath Ledger? Ain’t that some sh*t?

I am looking forward to his portrayal of a “darker” version of the Joker in the upcoming Batman film The Dark Knight. Sure, I liked Jack Nicholson’s version, but I’ve always liked the Joker from the Dark Knight series. He was deliciously mean and not afraid to kill. After all… The “darker” Joker killed one of Batman’s sidekicks, the second Robin (Jason Todd), in the comics. The Joker is definitely one of my favorites when it comes to Batman’s villains.



I really dug Batman Begins with Christian Bale and I felt like The Dark Knight would do a lot more for Bale’s and Ledger’s careers. Sadly, it now it looks as if Bale will reap all the rewards.

I liked Ledger’s work in Brokeback Mountain and The Patriot. Those roles showed promise of greatness unlike other films like 10 Things I Hate About You, The Brothers Grimm, and the horrific A Knight’s Tale.

It’s a damn shame to see him go.
