The Doors 'Live In Boston 1970'

Again I reach one of those points where I feel that I have nothing to talk about… So I will start with OB-1!

OB-1 is currently topping my list of friends on my MySpace page! He will reign for one week and I suggest that you visit his page… I hope that he’s not reading this, but it’s damn funny as hell!

I don’t know if he’s being serious or if it’s a rap meets Spinal Tap kind of thing. I mean… C’mon… When you see a stack of 100 Dollar Bills on his page, there’s a caption that says “My Favorite President”. He’s gotta be dope funnin’ ya’ll! (Is that even a rap term?) And he seems to have a breast fetish where he enjoys watching women treat their fun bags like beach balls that should be constantly squeezed together. Most of his MySpace friends seem to be adult film stars.

I’m also using his tune for the his one week reign… “Bop Ya Bag”. I must say that I truly dig it! Any song that starts off with a quote from Ed Wood’s Plan 9 From Outer Space has got to be cold crackalating! And it’s quite catchy! Check it out.

Over the weekend, I managed to knock off a couple of movies from my Netflix queue. I watched World Trade Center and You, Me, & DuPree.

World Trade Center left me wanting more within its first 45 minutes. It felt like it was missing something and that’s simply not like many of the other Oliver Stone films. Well… At least for me. I’m a fan of Oliver Stone’s work. I gave it 3 out of 5 stars. I liked it okay.

Now You, Me, & DuPree… That was a movie that just never really took off. I mean the storyline was there and all that, but it just had no zeal. It was like eating something that had no flavor whatsoever. It filled you up, but you just didn’t enjoy the experience. I gave it 2 out of 5 stars.

And one night last week, I watched another Netflix movie online… It was called Backyard. It’s a loose documentary on the underground phenomenon of backyard wrestling. And backyard wrestling is something that I would absolutely love to attend.

If someone wants to roll around in barbed wire, broken glass, thumb tacks, and have themselves set on fire for my entertainment… I wanna know where I can pull up a lawn chair with a cooler full of adult beverages! If young “nuts” are willing to risk their lives and scar their flesh… I would LOVE to watch!

A couple of years ago, my buddy Sean and I tried looking up some federations here in North Carolina, but we came up short. I haven’t looked for any since then. Perhaps I should pop on over to Google and take a look!

Backyard was a decent flick… I gave it 3 out of 5 stars. But be warned… It is not for the squeamish.

Wow, for the first time ever, I came to the blog and was listening to the titular artist. Cool. I also feel the same way about "You, Me and Dupree." I thought it would be good, but I think I turned it off about halfway in. It was going nowhere. Plus, now whenever I see Matt Dillon, I get distracted thinking of him as "Johhny Drama's not-as-cool brother".. which is so sad on so many different levels. The most of which probably being that Johnny Drama is a fictional character. And, in closing, I marked out for the reference Sean. I was all, 'hey! I know that guy!" That is also sad.
