'Share A Secret Together' A mix tape by Eugene B. Sims

Jeez! This has been some week! My DSL went down at home, my work schedule has changed a bit, and I worked a gig with Coup Delicious. Free time has been more scarce than Ace Frehely at the Betty Ford Clinic…

Sorry about the lack of updating. I do appreciate all the emails from concerned readers. Eventually, I will adapt to my new schedule and get things posted in a timely manner. And I thank all of you that keep checking back for updates.

And for pictures of the pretty feet… Thank you as well. I am grateful that you want to throw high-octane gasoline on my foot fetish spark.

I wasn’t too pleased when the CW Network took off Veronica Mars and threw on some show about recruiting a new Doll for the Pussycat Hussies. Sure… I like their music. I even own the CD. But I couldn’t name one of them. I’ve looked at them for a few moments, but never found them as overwhelmingly beautiful as some of my friends and coworkers do. I’ve never seen any of their videos until Kristina showed me one on the Internet… I just don’t care about them replacing a hussy. I can pick up a Playboy magazine and put on a CD anytime to recreate a Pussycat Dolls video… BFD.

The CW Network brought Veronica Mars back after the Dolls found their newest hussy. But I missed the first returning episode when my VCR didn’t record it for some reason. Yes, it was probably due to user error.

I wanted my beloved Veronica Mars DAMMIT!

And I wanted more Dick!

Okay… After reading that last sentence, I feel the overpowering desire to clarify myself…

There’s a character on Veronica Mars that I have always loved since the beginning of the show… The name of the character is Dick Casablancas. I’ve mentioned him many times before on this here blog of mine. In my opinion, the character of Dick Casablancas is one of the best comic relief characters in television history.

Dick Casablancas is a California surfer-dude that is constantly on the prowl for alcohol, parties, and women. But not necessarily in that order. He’s not too bright, but he’s full of pop culture references. Just about everything Mr. Casablancas says is damn funny.

My friend and frequent commenter didn’t really understand the nuances concerning Dick Casablancas. She found him annoying. I tried to explain the appeal of his character, but the enlightenment didn’t take hold.

So last night I went over to Christine’s house to watch the last two episodes of Veronica Mars on her DVR. And imagine my surprise when Christine laughed her ass off during Mr. Casablanca’s antics. Especially his “ghost riding the whip” scene where his car ran over his foot. Classic stuff, baby.

Yes! She was starting to get some DICK!

I couldn’t help but point out that she was finally understanding the character of Dick Casablancas. I simply did it because she’s generally right about a lot of things where I’m usually in the wrong.

During one of the episodes, Casablancas started talking about his MySpace page. He was setting up 2 of his MySpace hotties to meet him at the same time at the same party. Dick Casablancas always works his magic in a big way.

So after we watched both episodes of Veronica Mars and the season finale of My Name Is Earl, my curiosity got the best of me.

Before I left, we fired up her PC and checked out MySpace for Dick Casablancas’ page. I wasn’t surprised to find a few, but I knew immediately which was his… They gave us a clue on the show. Mr. Casablancas references the Coen Brothers film The Big Lebowski by using “The Dude abides” as his MySpace quote.

So when I got home, I requested cyber-friendship with Dick Casablancas. And you can too!

If you haven’t checked out Veronica Mars since it has been on television, by all means, check it out.

All of the shows from previous seasons are available on DVD and you can watch some of the more recent episodes by using the link above.

If you haven’t seen the show, you’re only hurting yourself. And you’re missing one of the greatest and very underappreciated comic relief characters in the history of television.

Yeah… I’ll go out on that limb.

And I’ve said it before and I’m gonna say it again… I believe that one day we will find that the character of Dick Casablancas has been putting on a front the whole time. We’ll find that he’s a caring and highly intelligent individual with a very soft underbelly. I just have a feeling that the character is WAY more than he seems.

  1. It has been a hell of a week. Beautiful feet, btw. I heard the owner posted an outdoor foot shot on Friday.
