Alice Cooper ‘Pretties For You’

All right! I’ve just about had it with home exercise equipment. Today, I have apparently worn out my third piece of equipment in a year. I’m seriously considering a membership to a gym or something. Jesus Chrysler Dodge!

Communal sweating has never been one of my favorite things. I prefer to work out without as many people as possible and that way; I’m able to blast some alternative-borderline-trippy rock from Alice Cooper without dealing with B.S. from others.

I’m just considering it. I guess I’ll start walking around the block at a brisk pace. Whether I visit a gym or walk around community property, I’m going to need an Ipod. My Sony Walkman bit the dust last year. Yeah, a cassette player and the thing was around 20 years old. Whenever I laid it down, someone wanted to put up a velvet rope around it because it looked like something that should’ve been in a museum.

Damn.

Now I’m weighing out the options… Should I get home exercise equipment or an Ipod with a membership to a local gym?

This is the kind of crap that drives me crazy. I want to get in better shape but it’s going to cost me an arm and a leg to do it. I’d rather exercise at home because I’m a pretty private person. Again, I’m not into communal sweating.

I’ll keep you posted on anything that I decide.

I started ‘The Godfather III’ today until my nephew wanted to watch the first Spider-Man DVD. Right off the bat, I’m not impressed with this flick. It seems that the Family has gone legit and they’re trying to buyout the Vatican. How F’ing ridiculous is that???

So far, once again, I’m not impressed. And Sophia Coppola CANNOT act. It’s almost painful to watch her along side of Al Pacino and Andy Garcia. Yes, I understand that she was a last minute replacement for Ms. “Klepto” Ryder, but the girl cannot act worth a damn.

I also have ‘In The Mix’ and ‘Derailed’. I just haven’t had the time to watch them and that’s killing me. I feel like I’m getting cheated if I’m not giving those flicks quick turnaround.

Until then, I’ll have to work my way painfully through ‘The Godfather III’ just because I can say in the future that I have seen them all.

Well, I really have nothing else to write about so I’m going to bail out of this blog entry. Perhaps tomorrow I’ll have more to say when I’m not disgusted about home exercise equipment.

Why don't you exercise the natural way? Jog, do pushups, sit-ups, lift and push boulders, carry tree limbs, etc. Become a mountain man, dammit.

  2. You know, I'm looking into that Brad. It is a lot cheaper that way.

Pushing around my old EXP would give me plenty of exercise.

iPod and natural excersize. Of course, I'm a member at the YMCA and just got back from walking 3.8 miles (or 6506 strides) in 40 minutes. I have done 8003 in 45 minutes, but I was slacking a bit today. iPod is a MUST though, especially for you!
