Stickboy 'Sings My Songs'

I woke up in the middle of a sleep cycle with a strange idea. It didn’t come from a dream, it just happened like this:

“Mmmmm… What time is it?” I thought to myself.

I turned over and looked at the clock. “Damn, I’ve only been asleep for 4 hours.”

I turned back over and got comfortable, readying myself for sleep to visit me once again. That’s when the thought hit me.

It was a multi-million idea.

Why don’t they make tires in various colors?

Blue tires, red tires, green tires, white tires… The list in my head just went on and on until I fell asleep again.

When I got out of bed, I revisited that thought about tires. I couldn’t let it go. Personally, I think that it’s a great idea. After all, there are people that pay thousands of dollars for rims. There are even people who have their cars that emit light from underneath in various colors.

Why do they do it? I don’t know. I haven’t seen the purpose for it myself unless you have a glass bottom car.

“Hey Q-Dogg! Look at that possum I hit!”

“That is so cool, Slide-B! That’s wicked how your purple lights play on that dead joker’s glazed eyes! Ooooo…. Look at the blood, man!”

“Yeah! Lets hit other things!”

Think about the tires in various colors idea. The same folks that spend more of their money than they have sense will surely fork over some legal tender for my moronic idea. I never have understood why people put so much money into something that can easily be wrecked beyond repair at the next stoplight.

There are different circumstances for older, more classic cars. I’m talking about these people that trick out their fairly recent models of Escorts and Accords.

Here’s another thing that I don’t understand and you can see this everyday in your driving: You see a big truck coming your way and you can tell that it’s a Dodge. The manufacturers put their emblems all over the thing. But, that’s not enough for this particular owner. They have to go out and purchase MORE things to let you know that it’s a Dodge Ram. They slap on a bug shield with Dodge emblazoned on it. They get a windshield sticker that goes the length of the glass along the top that reads “Dodge Ram”. And you may even notice by looking in your rearview mirror, they tacked on another sticker across the back glass windows of the Ram logo. Perhaps there are taillight covers that make them look like the Ram logo every time that they press on the brakes.

Why is that? Why do these people pay even more money to tell everyone what type of vehicle they drive? We all know and the majority of us don’t care. It’s not like these car companies are giving you this stuff free to advertise their product. So why spend your own hard earned money to make your Dodge even more obvious?

See…. I think there’s a market for my tires of many colors.

thats a really good idea, sadly there are a great many people that
will not use "good taste" with there umm choices, and when we see
their creations will have that same
freeze headache you get with a slushee, you know the kind that makes you pull the car over, close your eyes tightly and press your hand to your nose bridge for five minutes...

Sadly there has been some peoples choice in clothing that has done that too me as well..

Considering that, you bet there is a market ...

PERSONALLY I WAS HOPEING TIRE MANUFACTURERS WOULD LIMIT THE TYPES OF TIRES THEY MAKE TO BRING COSTS DOWN. SADLY THOUGH THAT WON'T HAPPEN AND I'M SURE YOU WOULD BE ABLE TO RETIRE ON THAT IDEA BETTER START THE PATTEN ON IT BEFORE GODDYEAR STEALS IT.
