The epiphany never came. As when I tried to read the books over the years (and never got past page 20 or so), the nonsensical names for people, places and things just refused to implant themselves into my brain and register. <BR/><BR/>So I enjoyed the imagery and followed the story with only a little more success than I'd have watching a foreign-language film without subtitles.
